MHI has proven track record in LNG Storage tanks, having built 27 above ground tanks of single containment and full containment types. This experience dates back to 1983, when MHI built their first single containment tank. In addition, MHI also has strong experience in In-ground storage tanks dating back to 1977 when the first tank was built and presently 26 In ground storage tanks including membrane type are in operation worldwide.
