Round one: Decent opening round. Meddoune stepping in at every opportunity early in the fight. Johnson started cautiously on the back foot as Meddoune caught the American with a few left jabs.
Midway through the round the pair traded jabs with Meddoune looking to unleash his right hook. However, shortly after the two-minute mark Johnson caught Meddoune flush with a right, flooring the Swindon man. Meddoune never recovered, his legs clearly gone, and on 2:57 the referee stepped in to end Meddoune's misery.
