He was cool with her behavior when she was making him a name wasn't he. She didn't be this overnight. She was like this for years.
When her 1st marriage broke up she was the young less experienced less powerful one and he destroyed her. This time around she's the more experienced and more powerful one. I hope she's learned something in the process. She may also have better (i.e smarter) people whose fortunes are tied to hers looking out for her this time. I hope she can pull herself together for the kids.

So what is the payoff for Nick to smear Mariah - if they have a prenup he won't get anymore money that way and he has admitted to cheating and some people have the prenup written so if you cheat you get nada or he wants custody of the kids so she has to pay him child support but I was given the impression that Nick baby had a lot of successful businesses going on before he hooked up with Mariah or was that just exaggerated to make him worthy in the first place?
Otherwise making Mariah look bad is only going to backfire IMO. Now if she starts mudslinging first....

That's why I don't sympathize with Nick. This is the mental health equivalent of a newly successful man trading in his mature wife for a younger model.

If he's trying to get custody of their children because Mariah's out of control, I'd understand.
