      • Hi, I'd like to remove a persistent doubt from my brain. I saw that on many airports, but know I'd like some help Here is an airport diagram. As we can see, the center of this airport is at the crossing of the runway and the taxiway and seems exactly at the middle of the width of the runway. As far as I know, this cross is is placed according to the GPS coordinates of the airport on the top of the VAC Chart.   To check that in WED I converted them in decimal   And put an object (from the wonderful @DINKI'ssTyle tools library) exactly there (with copy/paste to avoid keyboard errors). And tadaaaaaaaa ! Is not in the right place !  As you can see, the slippy map is Openstreemap to avoid an bad quality ESRI image and limit the errors here. My questions :  What did I miss ? If I did not miss anything: is this normal ?  If it's normal : is it a problem when you put GPS coord in your autopilot to land ? (sometime the difference is much bigger the in this airport).
      • I'll check the heading. The speed looks good at mi end.
      • I would love to see this flight model tuned a bit for the one engine out condition. Did lots of N-1 Go-around today, and everytime I'm not able to center the beta target, even at full rudder. GlidingKiwi, any chance to see this corrected ?
      • Ahh ok, I see. Then it loads your SAWC in my config. I was looking around the airport for differences Many thanks! Mike

      • I'll see if I can find more info related to this.
      • Hi Concorde fans, Thank you for your ongoing support for the project! https://store.x-plane.org/Concorde-FXP-version-3--XP12_p_1691.html For some time I worked on the next update for Concorde FXP, version 3.50. It is time to show you a few of the improvements that are coming. I will invest several more months into v3.50. There will also be a BETA test phase later. V3.50 will ship at no additional cost for version 3 customers. xCIVA v2 Philipp Ringler did an awesome job in programming version 2 of its popular CIVA add-on. It is fully X-Plane 12 and Concorde FXP compatible. Plus it works on Apple silicon. xCIVA v2 offers a great number of complex CIVA functions that will now work inside of Concorde. It will be possible to use the 3 CIVA units via the 3D cockpit, or the 2D windows or both. I currently overhaul also the Autopilot so it will be possible to select unit 1 or unit 2 as a source for the AP (and the HSI of course). The default CIVA will still be available. Autoland The new settings menu will include an option to allow the Autopilot/Autothrottle to work also below 180 ft. Furthermore Autoland is in the works. I'm not 100% sure if it will work out, especially in bad weather. More later. Skunkcraftsupdater In a few months the update will be delivered via the handy and free Skunkcrafts updater. It is required to use version 3 of the updater, the standalone client. https://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/forums/topic/292710-skunkcrafts-updater-standalone-client/ Previous versions will not work. Currently Concorde FXP is not displayed inside the updater. When v3.50 is ready you will get a small *.cfg file inside your account. More on that later. v2->v3 It is still possible to upgrade from version 2 of Concorde FXP to version 3 with a small upgrade fee. I would like to communicate that this will only be possible for a few more months. So if you are using v2 consider getting v3 during this period. After that this option will be disabled. There will be sales of v3 from time to time though. Improvements and fixes I already improved the Autopilot function MAX CLIMB quite a bit. It will have less oscillations and a more stable climb rate. Furthermore, outside lights will be changed. I have a whole list of aspects that I would like to improve. If you find issues or parts that should be changed feel free to send a list at [email protected] F-104 FXP If you would like to shorten the waiting with another Mach 2 jet, get my F-104 FXP 🙂  https://store.x-plane.org/F-104-Starfighter-FXP_p_1820.html Best Regards Florian COLIMATA
