The Dalmore Has Affinity For Singapore’s Golden Jubilee
Earlier this week, Singapore celebrated its Golden Jubilee – the 50th anniversary of its independence from Great Britain – and The Dalmore contributed to the celebration by releasing a single bottle of single malt Scotch whisky called Affinity. The whisky is, accordingly, aged 50 years and was aged for the first 48 years of its maturation process in an American oak cask before spending the final 2.5 years in a sherry cask. The result is said to favor notes of orange, dark chocolate and marzipan.
Only a single 700 ml bottle of The Dalmore Affinity has been produced and it has an asking price of $105,645.
