Tracy Morgan's Recovery 'Will Be Arduous,' Rep Says
The actor "remains in critical but stable condition," his rep adds.
June 9, 2014 -- Comedian Tracy Morgan "remains in critical but stable condition" today, the comedian's publicist said, just two days removed from a multi-car crash on the New Jersey Turnpike.
The crash early Saturday morning happened when a Walmart truck collided the limo bus Morgan was riding in, killing a fellow comedian riding with the "30 Rock" star.
"Tracy remains in critical but stable condition," his rep Lewis Kay told ABC News in a statement. "His fiancée Megan is by his side."

Tracy Morgan 'More Responsive' Day After Crash, Rep Says
Morgan, 45, was said to be "more responsive" on Sunday, one day after the crash that resulted in the death of his friend and comedian James McNair, a passenger on board the limo bus with Morgan.
In addition to Morgan, his assistant, Jeff Millea, and Ardie Fuqua were also listed in critical condition, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital spokesman Peter Haigney told ABC station WABC-TV.
Kevin Roper, the driver of the Walmart truck that hit Morgan's vehicle, is accused of vehicular homicide because of McNair's death and not sleeping for 24 hours prior to the crash, according to a criminal complaint from the Cranbury Township Municipal Court. The document also adds assault accusations to Morgan and the rest of his party, who were injured.
The multi-vehicle crash happened after Morgan and his group were returning from a Delaware performance for his "Turn it Funny" tour, according to New Jersey State Police.
In a statement issued late today, Walmart said: “With regards to news reports that suggest Mr. Roper was working for 24 hours, it is our belief that Mr. Roper was operating within the federal hours of service regulations. The details are the subject of the ongoing investigation and we are cooperating fully with the appropriate law enforcement agencies. The investigation is ongoing and unfortunately we can’t comment further on the specifics. Federal law requires drivers to work no more than 14 hours for any shift and 11 hours of driving.”
