Liverpool vs. Everton: online English Premier League 2014

The Merseyside derby is always a thrilling affair, but rarely have the city of Liverpool's teams been so attack-minded, yet vulnerable defensively.

There are ample goals in both thanks to the presence of forward players such as Raheem Sterling and Romelu Lukaku. But this particular derby will probably hinge on which defence isn't a liability.

Before delving into a deeper preview, here's all of the relevant schedule and viewing information:

Date: Saturday, September 27

Time: 12.45 p.m. (BST)/7.45 a.m. (ET)

TV: BT Sport 1/NBCSN

Live Stream: BT Sport App. NBC Sports Live Extra.

Speaking of defensive nous, one member of Liverpool's back line certain to be under scrutiny is goalkeeper Simon Mignolet. The Belgian stopper was highly capable during his days at Sunderland, but a reckless streak has crept into his game since he made the move to Anfield last summer.
